  I agree their isn't just one factor as to why the GB are high tailing it to the boonies to live out their dying days on a cleaned up contaminated chemical dump site of a International Nickel(toxic) Company.

  Perhaps the money issue is primary like Finkle says, and second is lack of privacy maybe third is they feel embarrassed in front of so many people because of all the bad press they are getting all around the world and so the GB would feel much more comfortable in the woods in a gated and guarded compound with no reporters or other unwanted guests allowed near them. It is definitely motivated on many levels by a desire to try and escape reality and live in a supernatural dream world where they have the keys to the kingdom and they decide who gains entry. Just shall we say "a fore taste" if you will of their ruling with JC in the heaven, them being out in the boonies being waited on hand and foot by members of the lower class 'great crowd' subject to their drive for more power over them with the matra 'Listen Obey and Be Blessed'.

  The ideal retirement home for these crabby, crotchety, flappy mouth old geezers running this scam.

  Kingdom Hall Renovation Question: Who Pays?

  so last night it was announced at the local hall that the ldc had decided against building a new hall, and that the existing hall would be "renovated.

  the prospect of a new hall has been dangled before this congregation for at least 10 years now.

  in fact, the congregation had already purchased property, had approval from the rbc for a new hall.

  From the letter it seems they need some type of approval and need to save up funds in advance if cash not available from congregation account. So it looks like no money is being given out by the WT to a needy congregation and a modest KH with bare necessities is encouraged. Yes it is looking real bad for congregations expecting any real substantial help WT Crooks living in the boonies.

  With the big sell off KH in the works they don't want money slipping out the back door into congregation up keep and remodeling that won't generate some good returns in the immediate future$$$$.

  Stopping all building project around the world you can bet they are eyeing every penny that they spend on a building against soon to be realized returns with a sale of the property.

  well i think as the exposure becomes greater of the wt hypocrisy and cover up that the likelihood of this happening great.

  no retirement funds for all those laid off when they were no longer profitable due to old age has got to bite these guys in the ass some day.. and maybe in the process of man's enlighten world view and a better understanding the cruelty of disfellowshipping member and enforcing a communication ban ones family members may open them up from another class action lawsuit over such egregious action caused by a religious printing organization domination over peoples action through deceit and clever lies about supernatural claims of authority.. either way i think they are going to need a lot of outside legal help in the future as lawsuits will pile up around the world which that alone could dry up all their funds in defense costs..

  Thank you for all post so far negative or otherwise, I just want to stir some thinking by posting this on the internet. No group think on this one and everyone relaxingly ponder some legal way we can make it non profitable for the WT corporation to use the shun gun. Bottom line kick their asses.
  

  I'm claiming not to be an expert on legal matters, that is why I would leave it up to a good lawyer to know how to frame the thing in such a way as to make a case and a nice lawyer's cut$$$ in the process. And so any good legal mines know how to get around these constitutional rights that the WT has been hiding behind? Hey throw it out there.

  Up grade the property(KH), sell the other property, call it even then later beg for more funds from the indoctrinated to cover WT loss's on the deal, rob them(Congregation) of their surplus with at a later date by a GB sponsored announcement to hand over funds in the form of pledges.

  And in the upgrade make the property for saleable at a later date to generate cash for an organization run by a bunch of delusional bumbling Idiots who hate getting a higher education because they might learn something and come out of mind control.

  The religious freedoms granted by the constitution is manly for the person not those claiming to run a religion.

  Disfellowshipping someone and enforce a shunning on them by other members for their changing religious beliefs violates the constitutions granted freedom, when you really take some time to think about it with any depth. Your application of it for protecting shunning requirement is too superficial IMO.

  Yup according to their business report they have had to leave many project unfinished due to a serious lack of funds except the GB's new home on a chemical waste clean up site and England's new chemical contaminated site these are the only ones they are suppose to finish,, but I wonder if they ever really will with all their denial that is going on. Even though they robbed all these congregations with forced pledges of money from them which they can't refuse unless they want trouble from the organization.

  They're in bigger trouble then they ever will admit to because of extreme denial even when they are up their necks in deep shit financially with a zero credit rating.

  I'm thinking that these class action lawsuits could set up a superfund with much of it going to those who will need proper help with financial and psychological issues due to this unfair form of slavery they have been under for many years. Perhaps the pay out could be in the order a fair wage for those years of slavery and a grant of money set aside /available for psychological counseling. I think these should be common human decency/rights requirement that should be heard in courts all over Europe, USA, Russia, every where they practice slave labor vow of poverty and servitude and complete unquestioning obedience with the threat of disfellowshipment,, they should have to loose money to be fair as a remedy for their violation of human rights.

  The sooner the better because the way things look they can't last very long financially so get it while you can or the getting good.
